The Major and the Minor (1942)
Disappointed by the big city, Susan Kathleen Applegate makes unconditional and irrevocable decision to return home where things are better. Upon arrival at the train station she discovers that the train fair has gone up and she cannot afford it. This is the beginning of a terribly funny and sweet comedy, where the 20-odd year old Susan becomes one week to 12 years old Su-Su, all to make a whole young cadet military academy fall for her, as well as Major Phillip Kirby. A happy end, light hearted, pure fun comedy not to be missed by anyone looking for a good portion of laughter.
