| Action Alert – Protect Your Right to Know Which Foods Contain GMOs |
| All, please send this URGENT message to U.S. Government leaders to protect your right to know which foods
are made from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). Click
and send an email today to the Secretaries of State (Clinton), Agriculture (Vilsack), and Health and Human Services (Sebelius). Please try to do this before Wednesday, May 5th, 2010, but don’t stop until they come around. |
| EU citizens please also click and sign the petition to put a moratorium on the introduction of GM crops into Europe and set up an independent, ethical, scientific body to research the impact of GM crops and determine regulation. |

| Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) are a dangerous enterprise that helps to make money and take control, as opposed to producing healthy food. |
| GM organisms are patented property of the big GM companies; hence legally you cannot grow them
unless you have a license. Normal crops get polluted by the wind with pollen from neighbouring GM crops, so normal crops become GM
and you are now infringing the patents of the GM companies, you become liable, possibly taken to court, and become dependent. The biological
pollution that GM crops produce is inevitable and irreversible. Soon after a GM organism is let free, it contaminates the species and the
original species becomes extinct – LOST FOR EVER and you become legally dependent if you want to grow that crop. The
health and environmental hazards are other issues. |
| Following a computer science argument it is clear that the GM pollution will inevitably have devastating results,
which could extend to mass starvation, mutations, new diseases and unseen tragedies globally. The researchers who create GM organisms DO
NOT understand fully the life systems with which they play. In fact from the point of view of computer science they know only very little about
them! By analogy: a technician might repair a PC by say replacing its hard drive and reinstall the software, yet he has only a very general and vague
understanding of the architecture of the hard drive, computer and the software. Similarly the DNA researchers "play" with DNA, but they do not
understand its intricacy and multi-layers of meta-architectures. Consider that a very large percentage of DNA was called "junk" because they
didn't know what it was for, well ... they still don’t know... |

| GMO are a very dangerous enterprise. Left unattended and in hands that have interests in privatizing the genes of every living creature (including people) in 20 years most of the food on your table will be GM food, hence the danger facing us. If you are unsure about GMO please view some of the following documentaries/presentations and if you are US/EU citizen please consider the links at the top of this article once you have made up your mind about GMO. |
