|Version 2.17 of No Noise is now released and available for download|
|25 April 2007, MBBSoftware press release.|
No Noise 2.17 has been released. This is the last version of this software as its development has now been ceased. No Noise 2 is a user interface-less software application
that operates in the background, suppressing the particular noise generated by some PCs on their audio output and speakers. This noise intensifies when the pointing device
or HDD is active. The noise is generated internally by the computer and routed directly to the audio output(s). Replacing the sound card, hard drive(s), pointing device and
all related cables does not make any difference. No Noise version 2 developments has ceased since the motherboards generating the noise are no longer on the market and the
need for the software has become redundant.
Licenses for No Noise 2 are issued on a per motherboard basis. License cannot be transferred from one computer or motherboard to another. However licenses issued for the
main version 2 of No Noise are valid for all versions 2.xxxx of the software, so just download and install the new 2.17 version of No Noise. If you do not have license(s)
for No Noise version 2 then you have to reinstall it and request a license during the installation process.
